SUPPORTING WOMEN, RESTORING
HOPE AND STRENGTH
Malindi Hands of Hope Foundation is a community driven organisation dedicated to ensuring underprevilleged women facing breast cancer have access to health care, support, dignity and hope throughtout their journey. We stand beside every woman because healing is stronger when no one walks alone
Our Mission to Empower Women
OUR MISSION
To ensure that no woman is denied access to breast cancer care because of financial hardship, and that no woman has to face cancer alone
OUR VISION
Our organization offers financial assistance, counseling, and access to healthcare facilities to women facing social and economic barriers. We collaborate with local clinics and partners to ensure no woman is left behind due to lack of resources.
WHAT WE DO
.We walk alongside every woman throughout her treatment journey.
Our work includes patient navigation and treatment coordination, medical referrals, SHA registration, transport assistance, nutrition and food support, emotional and psychosocial support, community awareness on early detection, and advocacy for improved cancer services in Malindi.
We are deeply grateful to the doctors, surgeons, volunteers, transport providers, donors, and members of our community whose generosity makes this work possible

Facillitate Access to healthcare
We Facillitate Access to healthcare by helping women navigate diagnosis treatment and follow up care.

Community Outreach and early screening initiatives.
Through education and awareness programs, we aim to empower women with knowledge about breast health and the importance of early detection.

Psychosocial support during treatment
Our organization provides emotional ,counselling, refferals, companionship to both patients and their families as they navigate the physical and emotional challenges..
The Reality we face
.Every day reminds us that breast cancer is not only a medical challenge; it is also a poverty challenge.
Many women arrive when their disease is already advanced because diagnosis is expensive, awareness is limited, and healthcare services remain difficult to access.
Although Kilifi County now has a chemotherapy centre, women in Malindi still travel long distances for many cancer services. Access to diagnostics such as biopsies, pathology, CT scans, and other essential investigations often depends on private facilities, placing life-saving care beyond the reach of many families.
These barriers continue to delay treatment and, far too often, cost lives
Looking Ahead
Over the next six months, we hope to reach more women through community awareness programmes, increase access to early diagnosis, expand food and nutrition support, strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers, secure sustainable funding for patient care, and continue advocating for expanded cancer diagnostic and treatment services closer to the people of Malindi.
Our dream is simple: that every woman diagnosed with breast cancer has the opportunity to fight for her life with dignity, compassion, and hope.
Together, We Can Save Lives
Every donation, every partnership, every volunteer, and every act of kindness gives another woman the chance to fight and to hope.
Together, we can ensure that no woman is left behind because she is poor.
Because no woman should fight breast cancer alone
Stories of Hope and Healing
Hear from women whose lives have been transformed through our support and dedication.

Florence's Journey
When we met Florence, her cancer had reached a very advanced stage. She was severely malnourished, frail, and had almost lost hope. We immediately connected her with treatment. Today, after chemotherapy, surgery, and continued care, she is regaining her strength and rebuilding her life one day at a time
Linet Neema
A mother of five, Linet had been unable to access treatment despite cancer affecting both breasts. Through the support of Malindi Hands of Hope, she began chemotherapy, underwent surgery, and continues her recovery while caring for her family. Her resilience continues to inspire us every day.
Susan
Susan had started chemotherapy but was forced to stop because she could no longer afford treatment. Having sold nearly everything she owned, she was left without secure housing. We helped her return to treatment and built her a modest but safe home where she could continue her recovery with dignity.
